About This Emulators

bsnes 0.69 is an older version of the bsnes emulator, a programme that emulates the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). Originally created by byuu (now known as Near), bsnes was designed to emulate the hardware behaviour of the original console as accurately as possible. The v0.69 Windows binary archive was announced in September 2010. This version allows you to run compatible SNES game images on a Windows computer. It is part of the early history of accuracy-oriented console emulation. It is not related to current bsnes releases which have a different interface and more features. Archived release records use bsnes_v069.zip for this release Some emulator listings use the filename bsnes-069.zip.
