About This Emulators

DuoS is an early Nintendo DS emulator made for Windows which was released in 2012. The emulator was created by the same developer behind AdriPSX, and was built to deliver fast Nintendo DS emulation by combining dynamic recompilation, hardware GPU acceleration and software rendering. The first public beta was released in August 2012. Beta 0.101 is the version documented in historical emulator listings. Even at the time, when DuoS was still a relatively young project, reports from the period described DuoS’ initial beta as being surprisingly capable of running some commercial titles on the Nintendo DS. It also had useful features like save states and configurable keyboard shortcuts. However, development appears to have halted fairly early, and DuoS is more of a historical and discontinued NDS emulator, rather than a current alternative to DeSmuME or melonDS.
