About This Emulators

higan v094 (32-bit) is a multi-system emulator designed to accurately emulate classic gaming hardware. The project, developed by byuu, evolved from the bsnes emulator and supports several classic platforms including the Super Nintendo, NES, Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance. January 2014 - v094 release announced. Separate 32-bit Windows package distributed. This version improved Game Boy and Game Boy Color emulation, added support for game libraries, improved Game Boy Advance color emulation, and brought more controller configuration options. It also supports some enhancement chips for Super NES cartridges. Since higan aims for accurate emulation, configuration can be more complex than other, simpler emulators; some games may require matching system files.
