About This Emulators
KiGB is a portable emulator written by Ricky Liu to play the classic Nintendo Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Super Game Boy games on a computer. The emulator was made with compatibility, accurate graphics, sound and timing in mind. It was available for Windows, Linux and MS-DOS, and a separate Mac OS port was developed by Richard Banister. The last documented release, KiGB 2.05, was released on June 11, 2008. It has save states, controller configuration, cheat support, adjustable emulation speed, graphics filters and Game Link Cable emulation over a TCP/IP network. That makes KiGB a historically interesting option for those interested in classic handheld gaming and older emulation software.
