About This Emulators

Potemkin (codename DaSH) is an early experimental PlayStation Portable emulator for Windows made by ector. It was a High-Level Emulation (HLE) project and one of the first PSP emulators to be able to run some PSP software. Historical emulator records date its v1.00 Alpha release to May 2007. The downloadable Windows package is listed at ~952 KB. Potemkin was released under the GPL and is no longer being maintained. Potemkin was not designed to be a generic PSP emulator that would run the entire library of PSP games, as modern PSP emulators do. It was mainly for experimental purposes; to test PSP kernel behaviour, run selected games and demos, and to advance early PSP emulation. Examples working as per historical reports include Puzzle Bobble Pocket, Puyo Puyo, Pinball, AI Go and a few PSP SDK demos.
