About This Emulators
Reicast Libretro is a Sega Dreamcast emulator core that is intended to run inside RetroArch and other Libretro-compatible frontends. It allows Dreamcast emulation under a single interface to control games, set up controls, video options and frontend features. Reicast started as a standalone Dreamcast emulator and was later ported to the Libretro API. In January 2016, the Libretro core was announced, as part of RetroArch 1.3. Capabilities depend on the core build, operating system and graphics configuration. Dreamcast firmware files are generally required and users should check the documentation for the particular core version they install.
