About This Emulators

SNEeSe 0.8.53b is a classic emulator to play Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) games on compatible PC. The project was developed by Charles Bilyue and contributors, and aims to accurately emulate the SNES processor, graphics hardware and sound system. It was developed for x86-based computers and has legacy builds for platforms like Windows and DOS, and ports for other operating systems as well. On August 28, 2006 version 0.853 was announced as a service release that fixed a problem with tiles clipped to both sides of the screen. SNEeSe also features configurable controls, graphics resolution, sound settings, frameskip options and support for multiple SNES ROM formats. It's a legacy emulator that focuses mainly on people interested in classic PC emulation.
