About This Emulators

SnEM 0.02w is an early version of an emulator for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) which allows you to play SNES games on your Windows computer. It dates back to the early days of console emulation, when programmers were writing software to mimic the behaviour of old school gaming hardware on computers. SnEM is a project developed by Tom Walker, started development in August 2, 2002. The 0.02 release had both a separate DOS and Windows version. Given the absence of detailed documentation for this historical emulator, specific claims of compatibility and advanced features should not be assumed without further verification.
