About This Emulators

nes9x 1.43 is a classic emulator used to play games released for Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and Super Famicom. It lets users play games that are compatible with the software on a computer, without the original console. The version 1.43 release, announced on January 1, 2005, included enhancements to emulation, input configuration, movie recording and other technical features. The Snes9x project was begun by Gary Henderson and Jerremy Koot, and later developed by a larger group of people. 1.43 is an old release that is not supported anymore. It is only available for historical purposes and legacy systems. It supports such features as save states, configurable controls and movie capture. Some features are different by OS and build.
