Visual Boy Advance GX 2.3.5 is a homebrew emulator for the Nintendo Wii and GameCube. It is based on VisualBoyAdvance-M and allows users to play compatible Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games on supported Nintendo hardware. Its interface is designed for television and controller-based gameplay, so a classic handheld game is a good fit on a home console. Version 2.3.5, released in December 2016, included a minor interface tweak to hide the saving dialog that flashed briefly when returning from a game. The emulator supports save files, save states, custom controller mapping and loading games from supported storage devices such as SD cards and USB devices. It also offers display scaling, video filters and ROM patch support. It's homebrew software and will require a compatible console setup to install.
