About This Emulators
zBoy 0.12 is a Windows build of zBoy, a multi-platform emulator for the original Nintendo Game Boy. The file zboy012-win32.zip is listed in the project's SourceForge archive as a Windows 32-bit package with a file date of July 2, 2013. This is the date given by the archive, and may not be the original date of release of the software. It supports loading and saving of game progress (emulating the cartridge battery-backed memory), taking screenshots in PCX format and improving the image scaling with graphics algorithms. It supports both keyboard and joystick input, and has LAN-based link emulation for compatible two-player Game Boy games. zBoy 0.12 is meant for classic Game boy games, not Game Boy Color or Game Boy Advance titles.
