The adventure starts when Bomberman goes on a journey through a dangerous world full of enemies and obstacles. Bomberman has to get through several areas, fighting enemies and blowing up objects with his bombs. Each stage has different dangers and challenges to overcome. The game is split into several sections each of which introduces new enemies and environmental hazards. Bomberman can also collect power-ups to enhance his abilities. Pocket Bomberman is a blend of action, puzzle and platforming mechanics. The main adventure is side-scrolling, not top-down like classic Bomberman. Players control Bomberman as he travels across platforms and through various environments. Bombs can be planted to destroy blocks and enemies. Bomb explosions go in multiple directions so players have to get into a safe position before the explosion. Timing is one of the most important things in the game. Bomberman can't be in the explosion zone, and players have to guess when the bomb will go off. Power-ups can be found throughout the stages. These items can improve Bomberman's bomb abilities and make the later stages of the game less difficult. Some blocks may be destroyed, while others may be indestructable. Each stage must be traversed by players along safe paths. Enemies travel through the environments and are able to attack Bomberman. Many of these enemies can be killed by bombs. And there are boss encounters that give you an extra challenge. Besides the adventure, Pocket Bomberman has a battle mode following the classic Bomberman formula. Players can use the bombs tactically to knock out the other players and survive the arena.

Launch the game and choose the desired mode to play. In the main adventure, take control of Bomberman as he moves through the side-scrolling stages. Use the directional controls to move Bomberman around platforms and obstacles. Press and hold the bomb button to drop an explosive. After a short while, the bomb explodes and throws out an explosion all around. Drop the bomb, then get as far away from it as you can. Note that Bomberman can hurt himself with his own bombs. Use bombs to blow up breakable blocks and kill enemies. Look for power-ups behind destructible objects. These can add to bomb range , bomb capacity , or have other useful abilities. Remember to carefully plan your route before laying your bombs, particularly in tight spaces. When fighting a boss, watch how it moves and lay bombs in the places it is likely to walk. Use bombs to trap opponents and avoid theirs in Battle Mode. As levels get harder, don’t just randomly place bombs everywhere. Use careful timing and strategic bomb placement.
