Guardian Heroes is about a group of young warriors who find a mysterious ancient Guardian and get caught up in a war between kingdoms, armies, magical creatures and great supernatural powers. As they journey through the land, the heroes will battle enemy soldiers and powerful bosses, while uncovering the truth behind the Guardian and the growing conflict. Throughout the adventure, the players are given important decisions that can change the course of the story. These decisions can cause the heroes to take different paths and result in different endings. **Guardian Heroes** also has great replay value due to the branching storyline where players can make different choices and see alternate events on subsequent playthroughs.

Guardian Heroes is a side-scrolling beat 'em up with RPG elements. Players explore 2D environments, battling groups of enemies with melee attacks, special moves, magic and character abilities. The combat system lets characters attack enemies from different directions and use powerful combinations.
