Story
Littlest Pet Shop is a family-friendly pet simulation game based on Hasbro’s popular toy franchise. Players begin their journey by choosing a small group of pets and creating a welcoming pet community. They can invite more animals to join their collection as they progress through the game, explore different environments, and make a fun place for their pets to live and play. The primary objective is to expand your menagerie, maintain your animals’ happiness, and unlock additional content. Littlest Pet Shop is not an action game, but rather about pet caring, exploration, customisation and fun activities.
Gameplay
The Wii version begins in Pet Plaza, where players are able to take care of their pets, shop and play mini-games. Players earn Kibble Coins as they explore and complete activities and spend them on pet accessories, toys, playsets, and train tickets to bring new animals into their collection. The game features up to 32 pets, a variety of environments including the Garden, Jungle and Winter areas and 16 multi-level mini-games. Players use the Wii Remote to move around, interact with objects and complete activities. Mini-games have adjustable difficulty levels and give ribbons for good performance, giving players extra objectives as they build out their pet world.
