Bugs Bunny in: Crazy Castle 4 |ROM-DOWNLOAD Story

Bugs Bunny in: Crazy Castle 4 is the fourth game in the Bugs Bunny series. In this game, Bugs Bunny finds a strange map with a strange place called C. Castle. Bugs first thinks the map is leading him to Carrot Castle, but he soon discovers that it is leading him to Crazy Castle, a dangerous fortress full of traps, puzzles, enemies and weird obstacles. Bugs must find his way through the castle, collecting the special keys to continue on his journey instead of finding a peaceful spot. The castle is packed with assorted challenges to slow Bugs down. Throughout the stages there are doors, blocks, moving belts, bombs, pipes, treasure chests and other obstructions. Bugs has to explore each area carefully, avoiding enemies and collecting the objects he needs to progress. Even the Looney Tunes characters get into the danger. Characters like Elmer Fudd and other enemies roam around various parts of the castle, trying to stop Bugs. Enemies roam the corridors and some take special routes or use the environment in ways to make the stages more challenging. Bugs must collect the necessary keys and make it to the end of each level. At the release of the game you have to find 8 special keys to be able to open the door to the next level. As Bugs ventures deeper into Crazy Castle, the environments grow more complex and the player must consider enemy movement and the safest route. So the adventure is less about fighting and more about solving puzzles, avoiding enemies, collecting items and getting to the right place. The story gives a simple Looney Tunes premise for a puzzle platforming adventure. Instead of a long cinematic campaign, the game is all about Bugs making his way through the castle and the obstacles between him and the next area.

Bugs Bunny in: Crazy Castle 4 |ROM-DOWNLOAD Gameplay

Bugs Bunny in: Crazy Castle 4 is a 2D action platformer for Game Boy Colour developed and published by Kemco. The GameFAQs categorisation is Action > Platformer > 2D, while MobyGames describes it as Side-view 2D scrolling with direct character control. The game basically consists of moving through personal areas of the castle and collecting the necessary keys. The game does not rely heavily on combat but rather on movement, positioning, puzzle solving and avoiding enemies. Players have to learn how enemies move and learn the safest way through each room. Bugs can interact with the environment and move around platforms and different sections of the castle. Objects on the stages are blocks, belts, bombs, pipes, and treasure chests. These environmental elements can change how the player approaches a given section. The enemy's movement is also helped by the challenge. Enemies will patrol areas and can go through the stage in different ways. Some screenshots from the Game Boy Colour version show enemies utilising pipes while Bugs traverses the lower portions of the level. There are also collectible items and keys that reward you for exploring the entire stage, not just rushing to the exit. Players have to explore different areas and sometimes turn around to get to items that aren’t right there. Due to the small display of the Game Boy Colour, the game has a compact portable presentation. The game's resolution is 160×144 and supports one player, according to MobyGames.

How to Play Bugs Bunny in: Crazy Castle 4 |ROM-DOWNLOAD

Start the game and start exploring Crazy Castle as Bugs Bunny. The core objective is to progress through each stage, grabbing the necessary keys, avoiding enemies and locating the correct exit. Use the arrow keys to move Bugs around the castle. Before entering a narrow corridor or crossing an open section, watch the movement patterns of the enemies. Moving too fast will put Bugs right in the path of an enemy. Search the stage for keys and other useful items. Players need to collect special keys to proceed, so simply reaching the end of a room may not be sufficient. Watch out for environmental hazards. Movement can be impeded by blocks, belts, bombs, pipes and other objects, adding to the difficulty. Some sections will have you waiting for the right time before moving forward. Pipes too can be of great importance in navigation. Pipes can be used by enemies so you have to consider all the possible ways to go rather than just assuming an area is safe. During the adventure, there can also be treasure chests and other objects that appear. Rather than heading straight for the first objective you see, look around and explore various areas of the level. When you have all the necessary keys, go to the appropriate exit and proceed to the next area. The stages gradually get harder as players advance requiring better timing and knowledge of enemy movements. This game is mainly a singleplayer game and progression is solely based on the player's ability to understand each stage and win over the obstacles.
