About This Games
Pokémon Conquest is a strategy RPG for the Nintendo DS that combines the Pokémon world with ideas from the Nobunaga's Ambition series. Rather than the traditional Pokémon formula of travelling from town to town and battling Gym Leaders, the game drops players into the fictional Ransei region, which is made up of kingdoms battling for supremacy. You play as a young Warlord who forges bonds with Pokémon and recruits Warriors and other Warlords to build an army. Battles are turn-based, and occur on grid-based battlefields where positioning, Pokémon types, terrain and special abilities can influence the outcome. The game features 17 kingdoms, a variety of battlefield environments, different victory conditions and an episode-based story structure. The tactical system allows for up to six Pokémon to be in battle at a time, which makes team selection and movement important. It was launched in Europe on July 27, 2012 and North America on June 18, 2012.

Story
Pokémon Conquest is set in the Ransei region, which is divided into 17 kingdoms. The player begins as a young Warlord and seeks to unite the region. The main conflict is Nobunaga, a mighty Warlord attempting to conquer Ransei. As the player progresses, they must conquer kingdoms and strengthen their army with new Warriors, Warlords and Pokémon. Unlike traditional Pokémon games, the story is told through episodes and strategic objectives, rather than the usual Gym progression. Different episodes can have different playable warlords and victory conditions. The main story’s ultimate goal is to unite the kingdoms and wake up a Legendary Pokémon.
Gameplay
Pokémon Conquest features grid-based battlefields and turn-based tactical battles. The Warriors have an association with a Pokémon. Players move their Pokémon across the battlefield and decide whether to attack or take other actions. Battles can have up to six Pokémon on each side so you’ll need to pay attention to positioning and team composition. Advantages of type still play a large role in the combat system, but the battlefield itself is important as well. The terrain features and environment are different for every kingdom. For example, the Ignis kingdom has hazards involving lava, making battlefield positioning and Pokémon selection very important. When not in battle players can manage their kingdoms, train their army, recruit Warriors, link Pokémon, buy useful items and use facilities that become available after conquering kingdoms.

How to Play Pokemon Conquest | ROM-DOWNLOAD
To play Pokémon Conquest, progress through the episode-based campaign and build your army across the Ransei region. Before each battle, scout the battlefield and think about which Pokémon and Warriors are best suited to the environment and opposing team. In battle, move your units around the grid, use type advantages, and select your attacks and other actions when appropriate. In between battles you can use the facilities of the kingdom to train Pokemon, collect items, earn money and strengthen your forces. Also, recruiting Warriors and improving their links with Pokemon is important as a good combination can make a big difference in tactical battles. Advance through the campaign, conquer more kingdoms to unlock new content and prepare your army for more and more important encounters.
