Yui Komori moves into a haunted mansion, and is told that it is the home of six vampire brothers. Upon her arrival, she learns that the brothers are members of the Sakamaki family and are not ordinary people. Yui attempts to understand the strange events in the mansion, but finds herself sucked into the supernatural world. Her interactions with the brothers will lead to different routes depending on the choices she makes. The game is very focused on character dialogue, dramatic events, supernatural themes and the development of relationships.

Diabolik Lovers is mostly a visual novel. The game provides the players with dialogue and choices to progress the story. In the game you can influence the relationships between the characters, create different paths and decide the end of the story. No conventional fighting system. The gameplay mainly revolves around the story, choices, character routes and different endings.

Start the story and read through the dialogue and narration. When a choice appears, select the response you want Yui to make. Your decisions influence the route and story progression. Different choices can lead to different scenes and endings, so replaying the game with alternative choices can reveal additional parts of the story. Use the PSP save system to keep your progress and return to earlier points when exploring different routes.
