The hero is summoned by the King of Aliahan on his sixteenth birthday and given the mission to complete his late father's quest to defeat the powerful Archfiend Baramos. The hero gathers a band of adventurers and sets off on a journey around the world, searching for clues, power equipment, and allies. The party travels through different kingdoms, exploring dangerous dungeons and battling monsters along the way. As the adventure progresses, the hero discovers that the conflict is far larger than originally perceived. The journey culminates in a battle with powerful foes and the destiny of the world.

Combat: Dragon Warrior III uses traditional turn-based RPG combat. In battles players control a party of adventurers and select commands like attack, magic, defence and item use. One of the game’s biggest features is the character class system. Players get a chance to make a party with different professions and customise their team’s abilities according to their preferred playstyle. Exploration is another important aspect of the game. During the game players travel from town to town, castle to castle, cave to cave, tower to tower and other locations while collecting equipment and progressing in the story.

Start your adventure in Aliahan and create a party to accompany the Hero. Travel around the world, speak with characters, accept objectives, and search for important items. During battles, select commands for each party member.
