Story

Captain Cecil Harvey is of the Red Wings, the air force of the Kingdom of Baron. Cecil questions the king's increasingly aggressive orders, is stripped of his rank and sent on a dangerous mission. This is the beginning of a journey that takes him all around the world. Along the way, Cecil meets allies such as Kain, Rosa, Rydia, Edward and other memorable characters. The group is drawn into a much larger conflict, with mysterious enemies and powerful crystals. Cecil must face his past, struggle and discover himself as he races to save the world from destruction.

Gameplay

Final Fantasy IV uses traditional turn-based RPG combat with the Active Time Battle system. Each character has unique abilities, such as magic, healing, physical attacks, summons, or special techniques. Players explore towns, castles, caves, forests, and other locations while progressing through the story.
