The player begins in the Sinnoh region, and is given a first Pokémon by Professor Rowan. The player then chooses a starter Pokémon and journey’s through Sinnoh collecting Gym Badges and a team. The player also encounters a criminal organisation, Team Galactic, who have schemes involving the legendary Pokémon Dialga throughout the course of the game. Eventually the adventure takes the player to the Pokemon League where the player must defeat the Elite Four and Champion to become the strongest Trainer in the region.

Start your journey in Sinnoh and choose one of the three starter Pokémon. Explore different routes and towns while catching wild Pokémon and battling other Trainers. Visit Pokémon Gyms and defeat their Leaders to collect Gym Badges. Train your Pokémon by battling wild Pokémon and Trainers. Use different moves and Pokémon types strategically to gain advantages in battles. Continue through the region, complete the main story, defeat Team Galactic, and eventually challenge the Elite Four and Pokémon Champion.
